Food, Music, Good Times and Photography

Few things come together better than delicous food and great music! Proof of this was the night by Folkestones Yo Yo’s Street Food and the Gumboots Reggae Band, combining delicious Caribbean flavours and soulful reggae classics on Friday 13th March at Eleto Chocolate Cafe.

This is the second time I have worked with Yo Yo’s, the first time was the equally delicous Eritrean food night! Nothing says how much fun this night was more than the fact I couldn’t get close to the band to get photographs most of the time due to the amount of people dancing!

Yo Yo’s Street Food’s Finn made jerk chicken and vegan curry. I can only speak about the vegan curry but it was amazing! I have heard rumours about the next food night and I am excited, all I can say is keep an ear out because it’s a good one! In the meantime if you missed the night and want to try the jerk chicken, you can stop by her kiosk near the top of Folkestone’s Old High Street!

Here are some of the pictures from the night, followed by a video of the Gumboots Reggae Band.
