Bringing Poetry to Rural Communities Workshop Announcement!

I am honoured to announce I will be part of Francesca Baker/And So She Thinks’s Rural Writers scheme. I will be running a workshop in Chartham, Kent that will use poetry as tool to find our voices and express ourselves!

Tickets are free and can be you can book your place through this link. Here is a little more on the project:

Rural Writers is a series of writing workshops that get out into the local community located around Ashford in Kent. We know that writing is fun, powerful, and brilliant for us, but that sometimes times, location, finance and accessibility stop people being able to access it.

That’s why we’re running a series of writing workshops in rural Kent. Featuring everything from wellness to poetry, music and more, it’s a great opportunity to try your hand at something new, and put pen to paper.

All levels of experience and skillset are welcome. These sessions are an enjoyable and safe space in which to be creative and dabble in some words.

So, come along and see what scribbling can do for you!

The events are delivered with support from the players of The National Lottery, and #CelebrateNationalLottery25.
